We are excited to announce that we’ll be holding an ION Conference in San Diego, CA, on 11 December 2012. This event will be co-located with the Large Installation Systems Administration (LISA) Conference, so it’s sure to draw in a highly technical audience that is ready and willing to discuss all matters related to IPv6 and DNSSEC. Last year we did a talk at LISA just before we launched Deploy360. This year, we’re back with a full ION Programme to really dive into deployment issues facing systems administrators, engineers, and network administrators from Web operations, DevOps, enterprise computing, educational computing, and research computing.
You’ve seen that we’re constantly adding new resources to this site, and ION Conferences are a real-world extension of this programme. ION Conferences are where we gather industry experts to answer your specific deployment questions and get your direct feedback on what we need to add next. As with our past events in Toronto and Buenos Aires, we’ll provide a mix of high-level strategic discussions, real-world deployment experiences, and hands-on technical training to help you deploy new standards and technologies on your own networks.
If you’ll be attending the LISA Conference or will be in San Diego in December, please mark your calendars to join us for ION on the afternoon of Tuesday, 11 December. Admission to this half-day event is free, but will require registration. Watch this space for more announcements.
