New IETF Journal Articles Published

Our technology team is very involved in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), which is an organized activity of the Internet Society. We work to facilitate the smooth operation of and growing participation in Internet standards through the IETF, organize briefing panels at IETF meetings, and publish the IETF Journal three times a year just before each IETF meeting.

The IETF Journal provides an easily understandable overview of what's happening in the world of Internet standards, with a particular focus on the activities of the IETF Working Groups (WGs). Each issue highlights some of the hot issues being discussed in IETF meetings and on the IETF mailing lists.

We're already hard at work putting together articles for the next IETF Journal, and we're starting to publish them here. For now, we've got the Chair reports:

Plenty more articles are on the way, including technical articles and reports from the plenaries in Atlanta at IETF 85

The IETF 86 meeting is in March in Orlando, Florida. We encourage your feedback on existing articles or ideas for future issues, and if you have something you'd like to contribute, by all means let us know! Both Mat Ford and I will be in Orlando, so track us down or contact us at ietfjournal@isoc.org any time.

Happy reading!
